The Gulf nursing licensing exams — DHA (Dubai), DOH/HAAD (Abu Dhabi), MOHAP (UAE federal), SCFHS (Saudi Arabia), QCHP (Qatar), NHRA (Bahrain) and OMSB(Oman) — are all computer-based single-best-answer papers, but they are not one exam with one vendor: six book through Prometric, while Abu Dhabi's DOH and Oman's OMSB book through Pearson VUE instead. Most run 150 questions in a sitting of two to three hours— Saudi Arabia's SNLE is 200 across two parts, and Oman's OEN is 100 in 2 hours 30 minutes — graded against a pass mark each authority sets for itself, 50% at DHA, whose booked three hours also covers registration and the process introduction. The clinical content overlaps heavily across authorities, so a single realistic mock is a reliable readiness check before you commit to booking.
Questions in the mock are drawn from the domains these exams test:
Sit this cold to get an honest baseline, work the worked-review of every question, then drill your weakest domains. Alongside the questions, make sure the licensing admin isn't what trips you up — these guides walk through the process end to end:

DHA's own CBT assessment guideline lists 150 multiple-choice questions in a 3-hour appointment for every nursing title, and states that the duration includes registration and the process introduction as well as the questions — so the time you have to answer is shorter than three hours. The pass score is 50% for Registered Nurse, Assistant Nurse and Registered Midwife, and 45% for Assistant Midwife, which the guideline marks in-active. The other Gulf authorities run papers of a similar shape but set their own test vendor, counts, durations and pass marks. Confirm your own authority's current format before you book.
The clinical content overlaps heavily across the eight Gulf authorities — DHA (Dubai), DOH/HAAD (Abu Dhabi), MOHAP (UAE federal), SCFHS (Saudi Arabia), QCHP (Qatar), NHRA (Bahrain), OMSB (Oman) and the Kuwait MOH. They do not share one test vendor: six book through Prometric, while Abu Dhabi's DOH and Oman's OMSB book through Pearson VUE. The free mock is a general readiness check; question counts, durations, pass marks and specialty weightings all differ by authority, so verify your own authority's blueprint.
Questions are drawn from the core nursing domains these exams test: fundamentals of nursing, medical-surgical nursing, pharmacology and safe medication practice, maternal and child health, infection prevention and control, community health, and professional practice, ethics and patient safety.
Like the real paper, it's graded only at the end — then you get a full worked review of every question with explanations, so you can see exactly which domains to strengthen before you pay to book the real exam.
